Not sure I like that as a solution, if my spam starts coming through as Important, I’m going to be unsubscribing from those senders real quick.

You can’t unsubscribe from the spam by definition and we’re talking about something different here – the scenarios where some automated emails are landing in spam, most likely because people who automate the processes are not very good at writing polished emails and not concerned about formatting, perfect grammar, content, or whether it can potentially be classified as spam. You need and want those emails.
