The administrator gave me a role in a Power Platform/Dynamics 365 environment, but I cannot see that environment in the environment selector from make.powerapps.com or the Power Platform Admin Center.
Lots of people lately
So if you cannot reach an environment after being granted access to it, I’ve discovered the following seemingly fool-proof method of making that environment available:
- Have the admin go to make.powerapps.com, select the environment, and create and save any canvas app (even a totally blank one).
- Have the admin share the app in step 1 with you.
- Open the app from the share email you receive.
- You should now see the environment from all maker and admin portals.
Or just have the admin go there, copy the url, send it to me, and now I can access and use the environment.
Eventually it will also pop up in the top right environment selector.
I had Microsoft Support fix this for me after environments were not showing up in the Power Platform Admin Center after a environment copy. I could still access the environments from make.powerapps.com.
The resolution: Microsoft Support performed a ‘GDS re-sync on tenant level’
If anyone experience this (maybe myself in the future), you can refer to Service Request #: 2108100050000136 at Microsoft Support.
Hello Nielf, can you share how to perform GDS re-sync on tenant level?
