First introduced as a preview feature in 2019, the sales forecasting capability in Dynamics 365 is now generally available and enhanced in 2020 Wave 1.
- Create multiple forecast models
- Territory or organization forecast templates
- Configurable forecast columns
- Sales quotas
- Support for manual values and over-riding calculated values
Sales forecasting is what sales goals should have been. In the first part of our video overview of sales forecasting, we set up sales forecasting, add a forecast, and show how you can customize it.

Great videos on the forecast feature. You showed me a few items I had missed when trying to configure.
Question. I’ve built out the forecast but I’m unable to see forecast in the sales forecast view. Any ideas what I could have missed?
